The weekend is full of activities and games for everyone. Yes, the McDucky Derby, Scottish games, a giant waterslide, and our Watermelon Eating Contest are all planned for Saturday.
Also, this year we will be having a silent auction to add to the festivities. We’re looking for donations so clean out that closet and recycle that gift you never opened at Christmas (50 cents/ticket).
The Glencoe McDonald Clan Cookbook is in the works. There’s still time to send in your favorite recipes. The deadline for recipe submissions is May 31st.
We have a block of rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn - Inwood (304-229-6677). Mention the McDonald Family Reunion to receive a discounted rate. Other hotels in the area include the Days Inn - Martinsburg (304-263-1800) and the Hampton Inn - Martinsburg (304-267-2900).
We’re looking forward to another great reunion, so get those lawn chairs and picnic baskets ready.
